TDTF Presents at PFLAG Franklin-Hampshire Chapter (Massachusetts)

One of the connections that we made via our recent local Pride attendance here in Western Massachusetts was the Franklin-Hampshire Chapter of PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays). They asked if the Trans Doe Task Force could do a presentation as a guest speaker during their regular member meeting, and of course we were happy to do so.

Lee presented to a group of engaged and concerned members yesterday, giving special emphasis to our mission being based in hope and empowerment, despite the subject matter being extremely upsetting. The group was particularly interested to learn about our new #IFIGOMISSING project. They were also excited to hear that we are developing training for Professional Allies. Mostly, they expressed gratitude for our work. We would also like to express gratitude for PFLAG’s work, both locally and on a national scale! Thank you so much for inviting us to share with you.
