9/14/25- Happy Fall, everyone! Right now in the US it feels like this picture. If you've gone back to school, we hope it's going well so far. For us, September marks the end of Pride season, as we attend events from May through September in our region. Our final event of this Pride Season was last weekend, 9/6/25, in our county seat city at Pride Worcester. The parade wasn't rained on, but just about 90 minutes into the festival where we had our table and tent set up, the skies became very dark, and tornado warnings started going out across everyone's phones, and the local PD and FD were all out telling everyone to get inside immediately! Thanks to the kind folks of the Worcester Public Library and the Brew Cafe and Bakery and some very wet event volunteers, we managed to get all of our stuff safely packed up and inside before the rain started pouring. If you didn't get to visit our table at Pride Worcester due to the sudden tornado (turns out that several did touch down! Wow, Massachusetts), or haven't been able to visit us at any Pride event just because you live far away, now is your chance to get some of our items that we only have at in-person events, or at our office! We also have added a new design and ordered glow-in-the-dark "I love LAMMP" moth stickers, which you can get for the very first time here! Additionally, you can enter into a raffle to win a jam packed tote bag from us that includes everything you see here and more (stickers, pins, pencil, other various goodies), plus a Trans Doe Task Force T-shirt, a signed print copy of Dr. Redgrave's dissertation, personal thank you note from TDTF, and a genealogical/autosomal DNA test (from FamilyTreeDNA) with a voucher for a 30 minute Zoom consultation with our lead Forensic Genetic Genealogists once your results are processed! If you have already taken a DNA test and you win, you may gift the test to someone else and use the call for a Q&A with us about your own genealogy work, our case work, etc. You can enter the raffle as many times as you like. This pop up shop will close and the raffle will end on October 1st, 2025, at which point we will select a winner and mail out all of the orders. Our regular online shop at Threadless is still up, and will remain up. This is just for a little fundraising boost for us, to recoup some of our costs from Pride. All proceeds from this pop up shop and raffle go towards our continued operation as an organization. Direct donations can be earmarked specifically for lab work/case work if desired.
