TDTF Transgender Day of Remembrance 2025

Thursday, November 20 at 9 PM EST, the Trans Doe Task Force will be holding our yearly vigil for the unidentified individuals on this year's Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) list.  Please join us via the live streamed event on our YouTube channel.

31 unidentified individuals on the 2025 TDOR list:

This year, there are 31 entries listed as "name unknown" out of a total of 311 entries (10% unknown) on the full list at tdor.translivesmatter.info. However, due to the the missile attack on a prison in Tehran, this number is inaccurate as an unknown number of Transgender inmates (estimated to be over 100) died in the attack. Therefore, the percentage data for this year only reflects entries in the list rather than accurately representing the individuals who have died.

2022: 44 unknown, 395 total (11.1% unknown)
2021: 55 unknown, 472 total (11.7% unknown)

Over the past year we've found multiple cases that we had not been aware of previously who have indications that they may have been Trans or gender non-conforming. We remember them here and hope they will be identified and returned to the people who loved them in life.
