Aug 29 2020: Live Oak Doe’s DNA has been successfully sequenced and is now in bioinformatics, which means that the forensic genetic genealogy team at the DNA Doe Project will be able to begin working soon. We wish them the best of luck!

Little information is available about Live Oak Doe, who was killed on July 10, 1986, in South Houston, Texas. It is apparent from details that this Doe was transgender or gender-variant.
